Tacky Christmas Party

December 5th, 2017 Posted by Uncategorized No Comment yet

The Annual Tacky Christmas Party will be December 13th in the Hangar at FiveStone Church. It is open to 6-12th graders. This event is always one of our largest, and includes some great fun games, good fun, and a friendly gift exchange! We encourage students to bring a gift under $5, but that is not mandatory! We also encourage students to dress in their favorite Christmas outfit, which is made even better when it is TACKY! The event is from 7:00pm-8:30pm, but as always the Hangar will open at 6:30pm with food and drinks for the students! Chikfila is $2.50, and we have other candy, chip, and drink options! I hope your student can attend, and maybe bring a few friends along with them! See you December 13th! If you would like to bring a candy or cookies, please email matt at matt@fivestonechurch.com

Mission Strategy:

  • FiveStone Church travels to Tanzania 3-4 times per year and has been using the same effective strategy that we will be using in La Ermita. We will equip our students to share the gospel via resources such as the Evangecube. Each morning we will travel through the city sharing the gospel with translators and adults (from our team). Later, in the afternoon, we will train believers through discipleship. Essentially we do evangelism in the morning, and discipleship in the afternoon.

Thank you so much for considering this mission trip. We hope it spurs a lifelong commitment to everyday evangelism!

Grace and peace, Matt McMillan
